10 DEC  DEPART USA  Our pilgrimage begins as we depart on an early morning flight to Mexico City via Dallas/Fort Worth. Arrive Mexico City in the afternoon. Transfer to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

 

11 DEC  MEXICO CITY  After breakfast, we will visit the  "plaza of Santo Domingo", the first church built by the Dominicans in 1576. We will also see the shrine of Our Lady of the Rosary; as well  as, the shrine of Our Lady of Covadonga. In the afternoon, we will  visit the Museum of Anthropology (one of the most famous in the world). In the evening, after dinner, we will go to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, to participate in the midnight celebration of "Las mananitas" (songs to Our Lady) in the Eve of the Anniversary.

12 DEC   MEXICO CITY  (Anniversary of Our Lady of Guadalupe)  In the morning, we will transfer to the shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe to participate in the ?Mass of the Roses? to celebrate the anniversary of Our Lady of Guadalupe. In the afternoon, we will visit the pyramids of Teotihuacan (lunch included). Transfer back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

 

13 DEC  MEXICO CITY - TLAXCALA  We will visit Tlaxcala and the Shrine of San Miguel Del Milagro (the place where St Michael the Archangel appeared to Diego Lazaro in 1611). Lunch will be provided. We will also visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Ocotland, where we will see the image of Our Lady burnt into a tree trunk after she appeared to Juan Diego in 1541. Return to our hotel in Mexico City for dinner and overnight.

 

14 DEC   MEXICO CITY   We will visit the colonial church of Chimalistac in the old suburb of San Angel. We will then visit the former convent and church of El Carmen and the Church of Santa Catarina in Coyoacan. Dinner and overnight in our hotel.

 

15 DEC  MEXICO CITY - USA  Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for our return flight home.
